NASDAQ Announces end-of-Month Open Short interest positions NASDAQ shares establishment date 30 November 2010 (shareholder.com)

NEW_YORK, 9 December 2010 GLOBE NEWSWIRE)-at the end of the date of resolution of 30 November 2010, short interest for NASDAQ Global MarketSM securities totaled 6,732,687,149 shares compared with the 6,728,296,101 shares 2,390 issues globally for the dates of prior resolution of 15 November 2010. The short interest in late November represents volume share NASDAQ Global Market 3.39 days daily average for the period, compared to 3,46 days ahead the reporting period.

Short interest 487 securities on the NASDAQ Capital MarketSM totaled 301,703,821 shares at the end of the date of resolution of 30 November 2010 to a 311,935,355 shares 486 titles for the previous period. It's average daily volume of 3.48 days compared with the figure of the previous period of 3.73.

In summary, short interest all NASDAQ ® 2,873 securities totaled 7,034,390,970 shares at the date of settlement on November 30, 2010, compared to issues and actions at the end of the previous period 7,040,231,456 2,876. It's average daily volume of 3.39 days, compared to an average of 3.47 days for the previous period.
